Most probably both. Alessandro designer and writer of '10x10 an Italian theory, chose the detail and artisanal workmanship of the florentine manufacture Landi Accessories to produce his 2016 ‘Mini Amore’, debut collection.

This first handbag collection was rich and full of Alessandro’s own personal experiences and memories, mixed with colours and shapes and influenced by a golden bracelet from the 50’s that his Grandmother gave him. The collection used a vivid colour palette, that has since become a signature, with lacquered red, yellow, turquoise, caramel, burnt orange and black; the pieces embellished with prints, embroidery, stitching and laser-work were just the tip of what was to become an ongoing transalation of his personal style . Popular shapes such as the tote bag, bucket bag, the clutch and the oval bag shapes are repeated in his subsequent collections and enriched by stunning detail such as tone-on-tone and contrast piping as well as those fantastic chains and trinkettes.

Although Alessandro Enriquez shows seasonally his collection are based more on stories he wishes to tell in this way with Santa Enriquez /Harmonia Zoow24 he created a range that was inspired by the different charms or icons found in the cultures and religious traditions of various countries around the world like a kind of personal religion. Having always collected these charms on his travels, Enriquez decided to incorporate them into his designs, creating a look that merged fantasy and magic, with a feel of tradition.

Each of the bags style is now named after a Greek Goddess and includes Bia, (Goddess of Strength) Hebe, (Goddess of Youth and the signature half-moon bags), Pheme and Hera. The collection also features for the first time a selection of clutches called miracle.To emphasise the craftsmanship, the collection uses simple colours such as black, dark and powder blue, burgundy and emerald green.In keeping with his typical pop-art style prints, the collection features pop drawings of the Goddesses, along with detailing in embroidery, prints and stitching.

“ITALY SPAIN, ONE WAY” – comes next and tells the story of the brand’s protagonist SANTA ENRIQUEZ; a bull-fighter who falls in love with the bull turning him into a handsome prince. The story is told through bright colours, and of course his signature pop graphics and prints featuring stars, dots, comic messages and colourful lines.
